The Hello Kitty Poster

Picture
Everytime Gemma eats or brushes her teeth well, without a fuss, she gets a sticker on her poster. She chooses the sticker and places it on herself.

The Constant Glucose Monitor

Picture
Her feeding tube/PEG is on the left hand side of her belly button. The sensor for the GCM, is on the right side of her belly button. And my, what a cute little tummy that is!!!

The CGM

Picture
This is the monitoring device that clips onto her pants, pocket, etc. At night we leave it next to her bed, and it is still able to pick up signal.

Gemma's bedroom.

Picture
It looks a bit clinical in the photo, but it is rather cozy, with an en-suite shower and toilet..  The curtains open out onto a balcony, with the stunning views of a bit of Graz.

Notice there are two beds...but only one gets used.  She insists on sleeping in the big bed, and I don't think Michael or I will sleep in the cot (although Michael did try last night.)
